Where is my iTutor data stored?

User data is stored on Cloudflare R2 (S3-compatible object storage) with EU and US regional options for institutional accounts. Conversation logs and metadata sit on managed databases. All storage is encrypted at rest with AES-256; transit is TLS 1.3. EU institutions can pin storage to EU regions.

Default region for individual users follows the closest CDN edge, but institutional accounts can pin storage to specific regions (EU-Frankfurt, US-East, MENA-edge) for residency requirements. Backups are encrypted and retained for 30 days. The full subprocessor list is published at itutor.study/security. iTutor's infrastructure is reviewed annually for SOC 2 Type II readiness; the formal report is available on request to enterprise customers.
