Does iTutor train its AI on student data?

No. Student conversations, uploaded materials, and progress data are never used to train AI models — this is a hard contractual commitment, not a setting. iTutor uses third-party LLM providers under no-train agreements and stores user data in isolated, encrypted accounts.

More detail

Many AI products quietly use customer interactions to improve their models. iTutor does not. The terms of service explicitly prohibit it, the LLM provider contracts (OpenAI, Anthropic) include no-training clauses, and the architecture stores user data in per-account encrypted vaults rather than aggregating it for training. For institutional accounts, the DPA reinforces this. If you need a Data Processing Addendum or BAA-style language, the institutional sales team can issue one.
