A free AI tutor
that stays free
Many "free" AI tutors are free for a week, then paywall the good parts. iTutor has a free plan with no trial and no credit card: 30 tutor messages a month, the Voice room, and flashcards, mind maps, practice exams and study plans within monthly limits.
Is there a truly free AI tutor with no credit card?
A free AI tutor is a learning tool that gives individual students AI tutoring and study materials at no cost, with no credit card and no time-limited trial. Free plans differ mostly in their limits: how many questions you can ask a month, and which study tools are included.
iTutor (itutor.study) is a free AI tutor with no credit card and no time limit. The free plan includes 30 tutor messages a month, answers grounded in the material you upload, the Voice room in 12 languages, and monthly allowances of flashcards, mind maps, practice exams and study plans. Paid plans start at $4.99 a month for students who need more.
What "free" actually means at iTutor
Look closely at most "free AI tutors" and you find a 7-day trial, a card required up front, ads between answers, or the useful features locked behind a paywall.
iTutor's free plan is a real tutor with honest limits: 30 tutor messages a month, answers grounded in the material you upload, the Voice room, and monthly allowances of flashcards, mind maps, practice exams and study plans. No credit card, no trial countdown.
How is it sustainable? Schools, universities and companies pay for iTutor, and students who want more can upgrade: Basic ($4.99 a month) gives 500 tutor messages a month and adds quizzes, study guides and worked solutions. The free plan stays free.

Free AI tutor: FAQ
Is the free AI tutor actually free?
Yes. No credit card to sign up and no trial that runs out. The free plan includes 30 tutor messages a month, the Voice room, and monthly allowances of flashcards, mind maps, practice exams and study plans.
What's the catch?
The limits. The free plan gives you 30 tutor messages a month; if you study every day you may want Basic ($4.99 a month, 500 messages). iTutor earns from schools, universities, companies and paid plans, not from ads or your data.
Will the free plan go away?
No. The free plan for students is permanent, with no trial period. The app shows how much of each monthly limit you have left, and paid plans exist for students who need more.
Is ChatGPT free enough to skip iTutor?
ChatGPT has a free tier too, and it is a strong general assistant. iTutor is built for studying: it answers from your own material, turns it into flashcards and practice exams, plans your revision and has a free Voice room. Many students use both.
