• Aggregated Insights: Create and publish anonymized, aggregated statistics about how iTutor is used, such as research reports. These are never linked to you, and small groups are combined so that no individual can be identified.

Data Security

Your Rights

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
• Deletion: Delete your account yourself at any time, on the website or in the app. It is deactivated straight away and permanently deleted after 14 days, unless you sign in again before then. If you cannot sign in, email us at the privacy address below. See how to delete your account.

Data Retention

• Active Accounts: We keep your data while your account is open, so we can provide the service. You can delete a subject, file or chat yourself at any time.
• Deleted Accounts: When you delete your account, it is deactivated straight away. If you sign in again within 14 days, the deletion is cancelled. After 14 days, your account and your data are permanently deleted, apart from the records listed below. See what is deleted and what we keep.
• Payment Records: Payment and invoice records are kept for 7 years, because tax law requires it. These records include the billing name, email address and phone number that came with each payment.
• Fraud Prevention: Network and device identifiers, stored only in hashed form, and a record that the account was deleted are kept for 12 months to prevent fraud and abuse, then deleted.
• Anonymous Statistics: Aggregated figures, such as totals across all users, are kept. They cannot identify you.
