Le moyen le plus rapide de résumer un manuel chapitre par chapitre (avec l'IA)

Sara El-Masry 8 avril 2026

Reading a 400-page textbook the week before finals is a fantasy. What actually happens: you flip to the chapter you forgot existed, panic, and hope it was just a "background" chapter. There's a better move — and we just built it.

The new Chapter Summary Pack tool in iTutor takes any uploaded PDF, detects where each chapter starts and ends, and generates one uniform summary card per chapter. Every card has the same shape: main ideas, key terms with definitions, critical quotes with page numbers, comprehension questions with answers, and a "if you only remember one thing" line at the bottom.

Why uniform cards matter

A normal summary is just a blob of text. A pack of uniform cards is a navigable study artifact. You can flip between chapter 3 and chapter 11 without readjusting your brain to a new layout. You can print the whole set and end up with a multi-page study packet that feels like a well-made revision booklet — because it basically is one.

Generated from your book, grounded in citations

This isn't a generic "Intro to Psychology" summary pulled from the internet. The AI reads the actual chapters you uploaded, so definitions use your textbook's exact wording and page references are real. Every card has inline citations back to the source pages, so when something feels off you can verify it in one click.

That's the same principle behind every new tool we launched this week: we generate from your materials, not generic answers. It's the reason iTutor feels useful instead of "neat demo".

When to reach for the chapter pack vs other tools

Use the chapter summary pack when you need to navigate a whole book fast. Use the AI Study Guide when you want one consolidated exam reference with formulas and worked examples. Use the Glossary when you keep running into unfamiliar terms and need a searchable A-Z dictionary built from your own material. They're all designed to stack.

Who it's for

Humanities students with weekly reading loads. Med and law students drowning in dense texts. Busy teachers building a crash-course pack for students returning from absence. Book clubs, honestly. Anyone whose to-read pile is larger than their actual reading time.

Get started

Sign up free at itutor.study, upload a textbook PDF, and click "Generate Chapter Summary Pack" in the planner. You'll have a full revision booklet before your coffee gets cold. Seriously — the hardest part is deciding which book to upload first.
