We just launched a refer-a-friend program on iTutor. The idea is simple: share your unique referral code with friends. When they sign up and verify their email within 24 hours, both of you get rewarded.
How It Works
- Get your code — Go to "Refer a Friend" in your dashboard sidebar. You'll see your unique referral code (like REF-A7X9K2) and a shareable link.
- Share it — Send the code or link to friends via WhatsApp, email, social media, or however you like.
- Friend signs up — Your friend registers on iTutor using your referral link (or enters your code during registration).
- Friend verifies email — They need to verify their email within 24 hours of registration.
- Both get rewarded — You get 1 free month added to your current plan. Your friend gets 30 days of the Basic plan for free.
What You Get
- You (the referrer): 1 free month added to your current subscription. If you're on Premium, you get an extra month of Premium. If you're on the free plan, you get upgraded to Basic for a month.
- Your friend: 30 days of the Basic plan completely free — includes material downloads, conversation memory, flashcards, mind maps, and up to 10 subjects.
Stack Your Rewards
Every friend who signs up and verifies adds another free month. Refer 5 friends? That's 5 free months. You can earn up to 24 free months total through the referral program.
Track Your Referrals
The "Refer a Friend" page in your dashboard shows everything:
- Your referral code and shareable link (one click to copy)
- Total referrals, successful referrals, and pending ones
- How many free months you've earned
- A progress bar showing how close you are to the 24-month cap
- Full history of who signed up and when
The Fine Print
- Your friend must verify their email within 24 hours of registration for the reward to activate
- Each person can only be referred once (no double-dipping)
- Maximum of 24 free months per referrer
- You get notified by email and in-app when a reward is earned
